We’re bringing this little preaching series, The Holy Spirit, to a close today. God has used this teaching already in our church. The clarity on what we believe about the Holy Spirit will continue to help us not only have knowledge about the Spirit but be more significantly impacted by his ongoing work in our lives: saving us, supporting us, empowering us to serve and sanctifying us. That last one is the emphasis of this week’s message.
Get ready to hear from the Lord as we look at the Holy Spirit’s work in sanctifying us or making us more holy. His work plays out in how he illuminates the Scriptures for us, how he purifies us from our sin, and how he assures us of his love and of our standing before him.
