WHAT ARE LIFE GROUPS?
Our life groups are the primary pathway for you to build relationships with others at Harvest, to be cared for, to use your spiritual gifts, and to grow in your walk with Christ. Small groups typically meet weekly, three out of four weeks, in host couples’ homes in various neighbourhoods around the region. A typical life group meeting consists of a time of worship and prayer, Bible study, mutual ministry time (men with men, women with women) and fellowship. The biblical curriculum is common to all groups and is usually based on the weekend teaching. Meetings are approximately two hours in length, and each group has a leader couple, an apprentice leader couple as well as approximately ten members. There are life groups that meet on various nights throughout the week, and one that is close to you.
HOW DO I JOIN A LIFE GROUP?
If you would like to be a part of a life group, we invite you to join us on the third Sunday of the month during our 11 a.m. service for our Harvest Essentials class. This 1.5 hour class explores our approach to discipleship and the important place of small groups in our walk with Christ.
If you have not already done so, please complete the Life Group Member Information form. There are two ways to do this. You can:
- Complete the form online now or
- Print the PDF form, complete it by hand and drop it off at Connections at a weekend service or bring it with you to Harvest Essentials.
